Seven countries, including the host nation Azerbaijan, have officially confirmed their participation in the 3rd CIS Games 2025.
The registration process for national delegations is currently underway. To date, 1,659 athletes from 7 CIS countries have registered to compete across 23 sports disciplines. The total number of registered delegation members stands at 2,385.
Notably, six countries have already confirmed their participation in team sports such as U-16 football, 3×3 basketball, and volleyball. Additionally, over 100 athletes have registered in individual disciplines, including wrestling, boxing, judo, and taekwondo.
During the first registration phase, delegations from CIS member states are being processed. In the second phase, delegations from non-CIS countries invited to participate in the Games will register. Athletes from 23 countries around the world are expected to take part in the 3rd CIS Games 2025.
The 3rd CIS Games will be held from September 28 to October 8, 2025, across seven cities in Azerbaijan: Ganja, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Gabala, Shaki, Goygol, and Khankendi. Approximately 5,500 participants are expected to attend. The 3rd CIS Games will serve as a celebration of friendship, unity, and sporting spirit among young athletes, establishing itself as one of the most prestigious sporting events in the region.
